PRACTICAL & EASY TO FIT – More practical, better looking, and easier to fit than any standard bed grab rails, this tool is frequently referred to by occupational therapists as a grab lever for adjustable beds. It’s designed for secure installation directly onto the slats or bed deck not divan bases and includes an easy-to-follow fitting guide for simple setup.

ENHANCED USER SAFETY & SUPPORT – Ideal for individuals needing additional support for mobility and bed transfers, the Samson Bed Lever is suitable for users up to 127kg (20 stone). While it may assist in reducing the risk of falls, it is not a side rail and should not be confused with cot sides or safety rails designed solely for fall prevention.

SECURE AND ADJUSTABLE FIT FOR MAXIMUM COMFORT – The bed lever must be mounted in one precise location, between shoulder and elbow height to ensure proper function. It can also be adjusted in or out to allow clearance for bedding, helping users move and turn with greater ease while maintaining safety and comfort.

MHRA Alert relating to Bed Grab Handle for Adjustable Beds: Occupational therapists, care homes, equipment providers, and early intervention teams should be aware that since the Medical Device Alert August 2023 The Bed Lever MUST raise and lower with the Adjustable Bed when it is adjusted. Must be fitted at least 32cm from the headboard. Maximum of 12cm gaps between bars to reduce entrapment risks, and between mattress and bars allowing for compression of the mattress at the edge. Must be securely fitted so there is no excessive movement.
